2021 National Create Your Own Newspaper Competition (Chinese)
After months of conducting interviews, composition writing, designing and typesetting, selected students from Sec. 1-3 created wonderful newspapers to take part in the competition. We are proud to share the good results.
Our Lower Secondary Team achieved the Second Prize.
The team members are Ye Minghan (2G), Oh Xin Hui Kelly (2G),
Lin Shi Rou (2G), Jong Sau Ru (2G) and Venedict Wang (1T1).
And our Upper Secondary Team achieved the Commendation Award.
The team members are Ang Kok Rui (3G), Joey Ng Tien Yi (3I),
Holmberg Glennis (3F), Angie Chu (3F), Xendra Tan Qian Yi (3F).
The 3rd Text Recital Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools 2021
This competition was held on 27th July 2021 via Zoom.
1. Gold Award Final Round Champion (Group)
Our team, which is made up of Ascendas Teo Yue Teng Fei (3I) and Wan Ruoyu (3G) worked very hard to memorise the script, put themselves into the context, and vividly expressed the appropriate emotions. They were shortlisted for the Grand Final and finally received the top Gold Award.

North Zone Schools (Primary/Secondary) Chinese Speech Competition 2021 Grand Finals
This competition was held on 2nd July 2021 via Zoom. Terence Ooi Zi Heng (3I) achieved the Merit Award.
Zi Heng had rehearsed wholeheartedly during the weeks leading up to the competition and gave his everything during the grand finals. He demonstrated fortitude and discipline throughout the journey. A very big thank you to all the teacher mentors who provided guidance and support!
National Mandarin Oratorical Contest for Secondary/Pre-University 2021
Our 2 participants: Ascendas Teo Yue Teng Fei (3I) and Wan Ruoyu (3G) were awarded the Participation Award.
National Chinese Pen Calligraphy Competition 2021
3 of our participants were awarded the Participation Award. They are Qiu Keran (3G), Sum Wei Kiat Stanley (3F) and Elva Tan Wen Ya (1I).
