About us

The Beginning

Northbrooks Secondary School was founded on 2 January 2000 with eight Secondary One classes.

The Chinese name of Northbrooks Secondary School 思源 is derived from the Yuan Dynasty proverb 饮水思源. The name reminds all Brooksians to remember their roots and be grateful to their families, teachers, friends and countries for the successes they achieve.

The School is united in doing its best to prepare Brooksians for the future knowledge-based workplace. Besides honing their capacity to learn, the school also focuses on building the character of Brooksians, including being compassionate to others.
